Important questions

You think you’re driving fast when you reach 100 km an hour?

You think an airplane travels fast through the sky? Did you know that when austronauts fly to the moon, they are at a speed half of the speed of Earth around the Sun?

Have you ever looked at the stars and wondered how small they are? Have they filled you with a sense of wonder? Do you think your feelings might be shared by them?

Do you think your ego is important and your feelings matter? Have you pondered the important questions?

How old is the universe 13.700.000.000 years
How old is the Milky Way 13.500.000.000 years
How old is The Sun 4.600.000.000 years
How old will the Sun become 9.600.000.000 years
How old is the Earth 4.540.000.000 years
How old is life on Earth 3.700.000.000 years
Earth speed around sun 107.000 km/hr
Sun’s speed around Milky Way 903.600 km/hr
Milky Way’s speed in space 1.980.000 km/hr
How many solar systems are in the Galaxy 300.000.000.000 suns approximately
How many planets might have life in the Galaxy 10.000.000.000 planets
How many galaxies can we see 500.000.000.000 galaxies (estimate)
How far is it to the next Galaxy 2.500.000.000 light years
How far is it to the next solar system 4 light years
How wide is the Milky Way across 110.000 light years
How thick is Milky Way 3.000 light years (average)
What is the average distance in the Galaxy 3.500.000.000 light years
How far can we see with tecnology (yet) 13.000.000.000 light years
How far can we see with naked eye 2.500.000.000 light years
What is the average distance between galaxies 30.000.000 light years
How bit is a Parsec 3,26 light years
How big is the Universe unknown … infinity
What is awareness unknown … infinity

Of course it matters what you believe and how you feel. It is obvious from reactions of others in our small world. It is interesting that our Galaxy is almost as old as the universe. That Earth has only lived one third of the universe’s age. Also that life on the planet is almost as old as the planet itself.

It is interesting that the DNA which created you, cannot be altered from the outside and that everything living has an awareness of self.

If you assemble all the steps required to produce intelligent life on the planet, and then apply the law of random success to every step, you find a joke.

The joke is this: It seems that every step requires 1 agains 17.000.000 trials to select success. And if time taken to try each combination, 1/17.000.000 for every 1.000 steps required, the universe would need 1.000 times longer time, to create the first plant on the planet. It seems that every step taken succeeded at first try. As if designed.

Is there an awareness in every living particle? Is space brimming with life? Is space and time designed for living? And since our minds is created by this strange mass of space and life, why is our mind prepared to design, love, create and wonder?

There is more to life than meets the eye. I believe there is an awareness of God before the Big Bang. I feel it is evident from observing life on this planet, and space.
