You cannot stand, sitting down

The Process has not been made into a printed book, yet.. I’m not even sure if it ever will be. Simply I don’t care. What matters to me is how it came to be, what it is, and how it transformed my soul. Transformed my life.

Your life is created and shaped by your soul. If your life isn’t on the path of your happiness, then you’re not on the path of your soul. Great truths are alway simple. In a sense that’s precisely what The Process is all about.

I remember it as clearly as if it was yesterday. I had for the fifth time in twenty years tried to read “Stay alive, all your life” by Norman Vincent Peale. I had recently heard audio excerpts from “The power of positive thinking” and knew that Mr. Peale was onto something.

What troubled me, about “Stay alive, all your life” was how unreadable it was. I knew there was something in it, but simply couldn’t read it. Comparing Peale’s own words from the audio clips that I’d heard, to the sentences I was reading, there was something missing.

How slow can you be? The book I was reading was a bad Icelandic translation. The potency of Peale’s words had been sieved out.

I had heard tapes and seen Youtube clips from guys like Tony Robbins, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Louise L. Haye, and a few other inspiring authors. I had researched Napoleon Hill and to some extent James Allen. I had seen “The Secret” and yes, I had tried many of those ideas.

Those ideas

The idea is simple. You are what you think you are. Then it gets complicated, but the base stays the same. If you believe that you can overcome suicidal depression, and you really believe it, you will. If you believe that you’ll find riches, or that people will love you, you will find it.

If you are willing to sacrifice boredom, you will lead a rich and happy life. This comes from one of my favorite books: Illusions, by Richard Bach. And it’s true, if you equate boredom with security and dogmatic ideas.

The same applies when considering authors like Paulo Coelho. Here I have in mind titles like The Alchemist and The Valkyries. Sacrifice your security and safety for a journey towards your dreams, or go on a quest to find your spirit guide. If you’re honest and willing to let go of “boredom” you’ll find your treasure.

Quoting an old teacher of mine: “All your wishes will come true, but you won’t recognize them”. Bob Proctor conveyes similar meaning when he says, if you believe you have poverty, you’ll have it.

I’ve observed people thinking and believeing that they’ll gain monetary riches. I’ve observed them slide in the other direction. All the time they were subconsiously thinking, and believing, that they didn’t have enough. Behold: “Don’t have enough” came true!

What this implies is simple. If you,  subconsciously, believe that nobody will love you, then no matter how much you chant out “I am loved” you won’t be. You can only believe that you’ll be loved, if you find out what your subconscious believes.

And here is the trick.

No matter what you chant out. No matter what positive stance you take. No matter how genuine your smile is. It doesn’t matter one bit: If you don’t clean out your closet, you’ll drag the dirt with you.

All ideas about positive soul searching, or self improvement, are useless to you if you don’t clean out the closet. Which consequently is one of the hardest thing to do in anyone’s life.

So there I was late at night. In my bed in fact. Trying to read an unreadable book, tossing it to aside and turning on my audio clips. I sometimes put audio books on my mobile phone and play them when going to bed. I suddenly realized what the Positive Process is.

Simple does it

Almost everything we human beings do, tends to become complicated. I’ll make a clear example: A person involved in helping others, because of strong subconscious motivation, and feeling bad about herself when not responding to implied needs from others, will put her own needs aside and over time experience more growing inner pain.

This is complicated isn’t it? Many have realized this pain, or this negative part, but are afraid of changing the path or facing the original pain which caused the motivation.

The simple solution is obvious. If this person wishes to untangle herself from the vicious circle, she must cut the ties to those whom she responds to emotionally. She must soul search and realize why the vicious circle began. This is usually more painful path in the beginning and usually the person involved turns towards complicated solutions to overcome her pain but still continue on the original path.

This also creates a dilemma for the person. She can hold on to her illusions about herself and her relationships, learning to cope with the pain it creates and spend weeks, months and even years, perfecting the Yoga, or Chants, or Pshycology solutions she uses to overcome her pain and reach inner freedom. This again, is very complicated and rarely creates a lasting solution.

Inside every person is a dream. In everyones life there are obstacles keeping them from realizing that path. The most common obstacles are monetary and social. We rely on our income and we rely on our families, so these matters come first. When our obstacles have created complications we cannot get out, we either seek a way out or a quick solution for the pain. Quickness is usually favored.

When I realized this it came clear to me that all our ideas, all of our solutions and all of our dogmatic complications: Begin in our own heads, and that our life is created by our souls. Our souls create our thoughts, shape our ideas, and thus create our life.

If you cannot cut yourself out of complications or if you cannot turn negative habits into positive ones. Or if you cannot reshape your relationships, you need a simple but effective solution.

To create a positive outlook, develop positive emotional life or reach anything positive in your life, you must begin with your negative thought processes. Many of them are unconscious and automatic.

So what you do is you take one step. You do that step every day. When that step becomes automatic for you it is time to select the next. This you do, step by step, as a process, day by day: Reshaping your thought patterns, step by step. It is a process, and it is a very positive process.

Therefore the aforementioned person doesn’t need to cut any ties. She just takes the first step into a positive process. As the process develops, it becomes willpower.

This willpower rises from your unconscious, as you learn what is valuable to you, you won’t compromise it. And that’s what The Process of Positive Willpower is. Step by step, with simple and easily acquired ideas, you strengthen your sense of self worth and willpower to find and stay on your path. The path to realize your dreams.

That night I resolved to end each day of my life in a thankful prayer to The Great Spirit. Thanking for my life, thanking for that day no matter how I felt about anything in the course of that day. I am thankful to Life or its creator, for being alive. I don’t take life for granted anymore.
